The corona virus is reported to primarily threaten weak immune systems and while a lot of good information is being shared on the subject, a 2014 USC led study found that fasting appears to dramatically improve the immune system, yet very few seem to be aware of this.

The following is from a study at the University of Southern California's Medical Center where the immune systems of patients improved after 3 days of fasting > https://news.usc.edu/63669/fasting-triggers-stem-cell-regeneration-of-damaged-old-immune-system/

Fasting can be difficult for some, so a year later in 2015, the same center created a fast-mimicking diet that is easier to complete and available through a doctor >  https://news.usc.edu/82 959/diet-that-mimics-fasting-appears-to-slow-aging/

In layman's terms, during a fast there is less new work for the immune system, allowing more time to fight disease and replace damaged cells as demonstrated in the following video links:

The immune cells shown here are called macrophages, and if you look closely you can see one consume what are believed to be damaged cells:  https://youtu.be/w0-0Bqoge2E

This video shows other types of immune cells at work: https://youtu.be/RPIzIznmAO0

If you have other information regarding these findings for or against, your feedback is welcome and can be shared through the contact page. But please keep in mind that I am not a health care professional and only sharing what I've experienced. I have no affiliation with USC, nor any company, products or services that might appear in linked sites.
